Install GreenFeeder with a Secure Union Connection

The GreenFeeder® P1X-UNIONKIT is designed to help contractors install GreenFeeder systems directly into compatible irrigation systems at the backflow preventer loop. The kit includes upper and lower union fittings and a pipe-cutting template to support a clean, secure installation on the downward-flowing section of pipe.

Unlike a basic inline connection, the union-style design allows installers to dry fit the GreenFeeder before final assembly. Once the fit is confirmed, the slip fittings are primed and glued to the backflow preventer PVC pipe, and the GreenFeeder is inserted and tightened into place using the union collars.

Built for Professional Irrigation Installs

The instruction sheet walks installers through locating and depressurizing the backflow preventer loop, confirming at least 15" of available pipe, cutting out a 7.5" section, cleaning and deburring the PVC, applying pipe sealant to threaded connections, dry fitting the GreenFeeder, and completing the final prime-and-glue installation.
