Correct Acidic Water + Protect Plumbing Systems

Neutra-7® gives water treatment professionals a reliable way to neutralize acid water and help protect plumbing systems from corrosion. Its proprietary formulation corrects low pH while helping prevent buildup at the injection point and throughout the plumbing system.

Stop Corrosion Before It Creates Bigger Problems

Acidic water can damage piping, pressure tanks, water heaters, fixtures, and other system components over time. Neutra-7® helps contractors correct pH at the source using a chemical feed pump system, supporting better water balance and longer-lasting system performance.

Why Contractors Rely on Neutra-7®

NEUTRALIZES ACID WATER - Corrects acidic pH to help bring treated water into the recommended 7.0 to 8.0 pH range

PROPRIETARY FORMULATION - Designed to both raise pH and help prevent buildup at the injection point and in plumbing

HELPS PREVENT CORROSION - Protects piping, pressure tanks, water heaters, fixtures, and other system components from the damaging effects of low pH water

DESIGNED FOR CHEMICAL FEED SYSTEMS - Dissolves in water and is injected into the raw water system as close to the source as possible

SUPPORTS CONSISTENT SYSTEM PERFORMANCE - Feed rate can be adjusted based on pH testing to maintain proper water balance over time

NSF CERTIFIED - Certified to meet NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 60 for drinking water additives

Build Better Water Treatment Outcomes with pH Correction

Neutra-7® helps contractors address acidic water conditions before they lead to corrosion, fixture damage, or customer complaints. By correcting pH at the source, it supports a more complete water treatment program and creates opportunities for ongoing testing, maintenance, and chemical replenishment.

Use Neutra-7® to help neutralize acid water, protect plumbing systems, and deliver more reliable long-term results for your customers.

DIRECTIONS (Read Entire Label Before Using)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Dissolve Neutra-7® thoroughly in water at a rate of 5 lb. per 8 gal. 2. Inject solution into the raw water system as close to the source as possible. Using a chemical feed pump system is recommended. 3. Open at least two taps nearest the pressure tank. When feed pump starts, adjust feeding rate to the mid-range position and run water for 10 minutes. 4. Check pH of water. Adjust feed pump setting until pH of water is between 7.0 and 8.0. Check pH 24 hours after initial installation and periodically thereafter to maintain proper pH. If pH is below 7.0, increase the setting; if above 8.0, decrease the setting.

This product is NSF Certified to meet NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 Standard for drinking water additives. Maximum use level for potable water: 100 mg/L.

Frequently Asked Questions

Neutra-7® is used to eliminate acid water in potable systems and help prevent corrosion in piping, pressure tanks, water heaters, and fixtures. It is a proprietary alkaline compound blend designed for pH adjustment in acidic water systems, with a secondary use for tannin water softener cleaning.
Acidic water can create corrosive conditions in plumbing and water equipment. Neutra-7® is formulated to neutralize acid water and raise treated water into a target pH range of 7.0 to 8.0, which helps reduce corrosive conditions that can affect pipes, tanks, heaters, and fixtures.
Yes. Neutra-7® is specifically positioned as an acid water neutralizer for potable systems. The product directions state that proper dosage is reached when the pH of the treated water is between 7.0 and 8.0, with feed rate depending on the acidity of the incoming water.
For acid water neutralization, Neutra-7® is introduced by chemical feed pump. The product guidance says to follow the feed-pump manufacturer’s or supplier’s procedure for injecting soda ash into the water system, since dosage and setup depend on water acidity and equipment design.
Proper dosage is reached when the pH of the treated water is between 7.0 and 8.0. Testing treated water is important because the feed rate depends on the acidity of the raw water and should be adjusted to stay within that target range.
Neutra-7® is formulated to keep the injection point clean and free from build-up. This can help support more consistent chemical feed performance and reduce maintenance issues caused by clogging or deposits at the injection point.
Yes. For tannin water softener cleaning, the directions say to mix 1 cup of Neutra-7® with 1 quart of water and pour it into the salt storage tank on a weekly basis. This gives the product a second use beyond acid-water neutralization.
For tannin water softener cleaning, the product directions specify weekly use. The recommended method is to mix 1 cup of Neutra-7® with 1 quart of water and pour the solution into the salt storage tank each week.
Neutra-7® is intended for potable systems and meets NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 60 for drinking water additives. That certification helps support its use in drinking water treatment applications when it is used as directed.
Yes. Neutra-7® should not be used before a reverse osmosis membrane or an iron filter system. That limitation is important to follow when planning treatment-system placement.
