Replacement part for Nitrate test powder packets in the Spectrum Labs Demonstration Kits (P/N 192413 & 192412). Used with Nitrate Comparator Color Cube (P/N 4121).

Nitrate Test Directions

(1) Fill (purple) test tube cube with “Nitrate Test” printed on the top to the calibrated line with water to be tested. (2) Tear open the end of one nitrate powder packet and empty it into the water sample. (3) Cap the test tube block and shake until the powder is dissolved. (4) Allow the water sample to stand approximately 10 minutes for full color development. (5) Compare the color of the water sample to the color chart on the test tube block to determine the approximate amount of nitrates present in parts per million (PPM).
