REGENERATION

Normal procedure for regenerating an iron filter is usually specified by the filter manufacturer or supplier and depends on water conditions. There are many types, designs and methods of introducing Pot Perm Plus to the filter. A normal method is to make a solution and apply automatically or manually to the filter at regular intervals. If unsure, consult owner’s manual. NOTE: Do not use in a water softener. DOSAGE: For each cubic foot of filter media, 1/4 cup-1/2 cup dry Pot Perm is required. It may be added directly to the filter or mixed with water and added as a solution. At 50ş F (10ş C) 1/2 cup of Pot Perm can dissolve in 1 gal. of water. At room temperature or 72ş F (22ş C) 1 cup can dissolve in 1 gal. of water.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Stains can be removed from the skin with a diluted solution of sodium bisulfite or lemon juice.
