Help Your Water Softener Work Like It Should

Over time, iron, manganese, silt, and metal particles can build up inside your water softener and make it work harder than it should. Res Care® helps clean the resin bed inside the softener, restoring performance and helping extend the life of the system.

The liquid formula is easy to add directly to the brine well and can be used with each regeneration for regular maintenance. For added convenience, the pre-measured 4 oz dose makes monthly upkeep simple.

DIRECTIONS: READ ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE USING.

FIRST APPLICATION

1. Dissolve 3 packets of Pro Softener Mate in 1 gal. of warm water. 2. Pour directly into brine well. (Softeners with no brine well, pour directly into salt storage tank when salt level is low). 3. Manually regenerate softener. Repeat for heavily fouled unit.

REGULAR USE

1. Add 1 packet for every 40 lbs. of salt added to the salt storage tank. 2. Layer to ensure a continuous dose of Pro Softener Mate with each regeneration.

CABINET MODELS - USE FOR PERIODIC CLEANING ONLY.

Follow FIRST APPLICATION instructions above. Repeat regularly. NOTE: If taste or odor is detected in tap water, then run cold water until odor is gone. This product is certified to meet NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 60 for drinking water additives. Maximum use level for potable water is 100 mg/L.
